She is a Pediatric Endocrinologist At Mubarak Al-Kabeer and Jaber Hospitals. She is an Associate Professor at the Department of Pediatrics at the College of Medicine, Kuwait University. She is currently the Vice Dean of Research and Graduate studies at the College of Public Health, Kuwait University.

Fatemah Alhusaini
Dr Fatemah Alhusaini is a board certified pediatric endocrinologist based in Al-Adan Hospital, Kuwait. She graduated from Kuwaits university medical school and followed a career in pediatric’s in Kuwait’s pediatric Residency program. Dr Fatemah completed her fellowship in pediatric endocrinology and diabetology at Great Ormond Street Hospital, London, United Kingdom. She is part of national diabetes registry in Kuwait team at Dasman Diabetes Institute.

Olivia Al-Mutasim
Dr. Olivia Al-Mutasim Al-Hassan, is a Pediatric Endocrinologist based at Aladan Hospital in Kuwait, with over 10 years of experience in the field. She has a great interest in pediatric obesity, diabetes and puberty. She has also held leadership roles in the academic sphere, serving as the former Head of the Academic Office at SCDA and SSPED. Additionally, she was the Training director for the Changing Diabetes in Children program in Sudan.
Dr. Olivia is a current reviewer in “Journal of Clinical Research in Pediatric Endocrinology” and she participated as a speaker at many regional and international conferences.

Zaidan Al Mazidi
He gained his MBChB in 1975 and his DCH in Dublin in 1978. In London, he completes his Ph.D. in endocrinology from the Faculty of Medicine, University college of London, (UCL), in 1989. Dr. Al Mazidi’s research focuses on different endocrine disorders and has led to forty-seven publications in local and international medical journals. Dr. Al Mazidi has also worked on organizing thirty-five local and international conferences. For the time being, he is the head of the Kuwaiti Endocrine Society.

I graduated from Kuwait university on 2006
then I did my pediatric residency program in king faisal hospital and research center [KFH&RC]in Riyadh,KSA
after that I did my pediatric endocrine fellowship program in KFH&RC
Then I did attachment with the research center and genetic lab for one and half year to do more research in the genetic part of DSD
Lastly I joined Queen Elizabeth hospital in Glasgow to do 2months attachment to expand my knowledge in DSD with prof.Faisal Ahmed
Currently I'm the head of the pediatric endocrine and diabetes unit at farwanya hospital.

Nour Al Mutairi
She is a distinguished medical professional specializing in Pediatric Endocrinology and Metabolism (FRCPC) with a rich educational background from prestigious institutions, including McGill, McMaster and Kuwait University.
Dr. Almutairi's academic journey is complemented by her involvement in innovative research, notably on diabetes in adolescents. Additionally, she holds a Clinical Epidemiology Diploma from McMaster University.

Ahmad Sarraf
Graduated from the College of Medicine and Medical Sciences, Arabian Gulf University, Bahrain, in 1999. He got his postgraduate training in Medical Biochemistry at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver in Canada during the period of 2006-2011. He then did a one-year Fellowship in Lipidology at St Paul’s Hospital, Vancouver BC Canada, and was awarded a certificate in Clinical Lipidology by the National Lipid Association in the United States in 2010. Ever since, he have been a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Medical Biochemistry. Co-authored several publications in international journals mainly in lipid disorders.

Hessa Al-Kandari
She is a consultant pediatric endocrinologist. She has great interest in research, especially in the fields of registry and genetic diagnosis of rare disorders in diabetes and endocrinology. She is currently leading projects national diabetes registry and monogenic diabetes in Kuwait. She is also co-leading Kuwait Diabetes Society.

Afrah Alazmi
She received her PhD in clinical psychology from Bangor University, UK. She is a clinical psychologist and therapist working in the Kuwait Ministry of Health with extensive experience in providing compassionate mental health care to children and their parents, specifically children with chronic disease. She is committed to delivering comprehensive, evidence-based mental health care and has a particular interest in chronic disease management.

Fatemah Bukhalaf
Dr. Fatemah Bukhalaf is an Adolescent Medicine Specialist from Kuwait. Dr. Bukhalaf graduated from National University of Ireland, then completed Kuwaiti Board of Pediatrics. In July 2023 Dr. Bukhalaf completed a two-year Fellowship in Adolescent Medicine at University of Toronto, Canada and became the first Adolescent Medicine Specialist in Kuwait.
She is currently working in pediatric department in Adan hospital where she is running the adolescent medicine service. Her main interests are adolescents' mental health disorders, particularly in association with chronic illness as well as eating disorders.
In addition to her subspecialty related work, she is also posted as the head of pediatric resident clinical teaching unit.
Dr. Bukhalaf is an enthusiastic clinical tutor and she is very excited to share her knowledge and experience in adolescent Health and bring it back to Kuwait. Her goal is to be part of the team developing and establishing a better healthcare system to our teens as well as training medical students and pediatric residents to have better understanding of adolescents and their needs.
